The one who initiated me into the music career was Márkus Zoltán, the cantor of the Rét Reformed Church in Oradea. From him, I learned to play the guitar when I was 13. I had my first experiences with folk music at the Csillagocska Foundation. There, I first learned to dance and then to play instruments. At first, I played the contrabass, and shortly after, the fiddle.
Starting 2012 and until I got into university, I was the violinist of the Oradea Dance Band. After that, I was captivated by the Hungarian dance house movement in Cluj, getting the chance to perform with more bands here. That’s when I was introduced to the guys in the Tokos band and after a few collaborations here and there, I became a permanent member of the band. Sincer 2019, I’ve been working as a teacher at the ”Kallós Zoltán” Folk Music School.
